Take a leap back to the British-era by setting your foot in Crockety, a bungalow embodying fine British architecture. Kalimpong used to be a centre for trade of wool. It houses many rare scriptures that were brought to India after the invasion of Tibet in 1959.
One thing you cannot miss in Kalimpong is Morgan House, the exquisite mansion flaunting British style architecture. It was built in 1930 by the British jute merchant, George Morgan. Today, it is converted into a boutique hotel where people are offered to experience the magical charm. Embrace the elegant beauty which also renders clear view of Kanchenjunga range.
